There are plenty of eyeshadow palettes in the market; however, it’s tricky to find one that is at par with high end brands. So, you can imagine my excitement when I found this drugstore gem. The Jazzy France Sleek Matte Eyeshadow Palette in “Night Out” is – dare I say – the best matte eyeshadow palette I’ve ever tried!
First of all, can we talk about the packaging? When they called this the “Sleek Matte Eyeshadow Palette”, they really did mean sleek. The lid closes via magnets. It’s just like the Inglot Freedom System Palette. The only difference is that the eyeshadow pans in the Jazzy France palette are not refillable/replaceable.

It comes in two palette variants: Simply Girl and Night Out.

Between the two palettes, I picked Night Out because of the gorgeous and versatile colour selection. You have a selection of soft browns and taupes, cool hues, warm tones, and dark shades that are perfect for a smokey eye (as demonstrated in my smokey eye tutorial on YouTube). You also get a vivid purple shade that is fun to play with! (I had this exact shade in the eyeshadow singles version way back in 2014. It was one of my favourites! I’m so glad they included it in this palette).
You can go from day to night with these shades. This palette has got you covered!
I’ve used this on soft looks…
And bold looks, too.
It’s just so versatile!
Now, the pigmentation and texture is a dream. The quality of this is a far cry from most drugstore matte eyeshadows. As I’ve mention, I used to have some of these in their single pan versions; and, might I say, the formula has improved so much throughout the years! (I wasn’t able to write a review on those; but, I was not fond of the old formula of the matte shades as they were too dry to pick up with a brush, grainy, and low on pigmentation. That was way back in 2014.)
Just look at these swatches. Gorgeous colours!
They don’t come off easily, too! See the swatches below. Mind you, these were rubbed quite vigorously.
For the price, you really get more than what you pay for. It might be a little pricey for a drugstore brand; but, for the quality and amount of product that you get, this is such a good investment. I can say that the quality is at par with some high end brands.
I only have one “con” to point out with this palette. I really do wish they would make it refillable like the Inglot palette. It would be more convenient and cost efficient that way.
Overall, I highly recommend this eyeshadow palette. It’s a good buy!
