Lip glosses were phased out for many reasons. They were thick, sticky, sheer, and uncomfortable. Not these Colourglazes, though — they’re the exact opposite!

[As of June 2018] Colourette offers these vivid lip glosses in 6 juicy colours: Hali, Zarya, Marlowe, Feather, Nixie, and Fox. I have 4 of them.

  • Marlowe is a warm, peachy nude.
  • Feather is a mauvey rose. My favourite!
  • Nixie is a vivid fuchsia.
  • Fox is a classic bright red.

The verdict: What they claim is what you get!

The Colourette Colourglaze Vivid Lip Glosses are a far cry from the cheap glosses we used when we were kids. In my experience, these truly are the most comfortable glosses I’ve ever tried!

I don’t have much criticism for this product. My Fox gloss did come with a defective container (it leaks), but the rest were okay; so, I think it’s just from faulty handling during the delivery. Part of me wants to note the price as a con because it’s fairly expensive for a lip gloss, but considering that they didn’t skimp on quality active ingredients and pigments, I really can’t complain. There are far more expensive glosses that don’t even compare to the quality of these Colourglazes.

Overall, I love them so much! However, honestly speaking, if you’re on a tight budget, I’d recommend for you to purchase their Matte Liq’Laquers instead. They’re the same price, but in my humble opinion, I’d much rather invest in a liquid lipstick than a lip gloss. That’s just my personal thing, though.

Would I recommend these Colourglaze Vivid Lip Gosses? Yes!
Would I repurchase them? I love them, but I still love mattes more. I probably won’t repurchase these shades, but if they release NEW ones, then I’ll definitely buy them!
